- Kean is the younger brother of Kolten Wong, the All-American player at the University of Hawaii. Like his older brother, Kean is cut from the same mold. Hits from the left side, and can play Catcher, 2b, or Center Field. At only 15yrs old you can tell Kean is going to be a special player. He stays inside the ball very well and can hit the ball to all parts of the field and consistently sprays line drives all over the yard.
-
At a recent tournament he was clocked at a 4.0 to first base on a full swing and was timed at 6.68 seconds in the 60 yrd dash. With still 3 years left until he graduates, its a pretty sure bet that he will be a professional prospect come the 2013 draft or have many D-1 colleges to choose from.
In the field Kean is very comfortable at 3 positions and primarily plays center field in school.

With his ability to run, he will surely be a table setter at the top of the order in the future and as he continues to progress and get stronger he will start to hit for some power as well. Right now his swing is tailored to hitting line drives. Look for Kean's stock to continue to rise as he approaches his senior yr in 2013.
