How to remove the FullBED Cushioning System built into 2010 and 2011 Burton bindings in order to mount the bindings to your board.

For those too lazy to watch the video, here's a quick rundown in text form:
Step 1: Find your bindings. Good. Now put them in your hands.
Step 2: Turn them over so they are upside-down with the toe edge pointed towards you and the heel edge facing away.
Step 3: Place your thumbs into the large hole on the bottom of the bindings as far towards the heel as is comfortable.
Step 4: Push your thumbs against the cushion. After some resistance, the bottom of the cushion will pop up from the heel.
*(Protip: For best results, push up the cushioning by placing your fingers on the plastic on the bottom of the cushion, not the cushion itself)
Step 5: Lay binding on board, insert disk and screws, screw screw screw.
Step 6: Snap FullBED cushion back into place.
Step 7: Screw.
Step 8: Pow pow pow!

Hope that helps.

  • Now the real question is...how to you re-adjust or remove completely once their mounted on the board??

  • @chapmanry You lift on the two flaps on each side of the "horse-shoe" shape at the back. It's best to lift them simultaneously...
