In this particular contest(this video only) Gruberova is arguably the best(by far). But considering all performances of this aria I'm must say that Kathleen Battle does it better than anyone else. Of course I'm not talking about her MET broadcast perfomance(1988) when she was sick! I'm talking about of any other performances of her, such as in Vienna(1989) with James Levine conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra(she won a Grammy with this one).

Dessay's trill is unmatched here, even by Gruberova (imo).

definitely sumi's f is uncomparable with other womans. well this is proven by famous conductors so no arguement. her f is so clear and with ease she does it unlike other sopranoes who have hard time further more, this aria requires to move from place to place however, most of the woman would just stay at one place and sing since it is demanding unlike sumi jo which follows exactly. she moves as she sings.
