This film is directed by Ishirō Honda. It was the fourth film to be released in the Godzilla series, produced by Toho Company Ltd. It is the second film to feature Mothra.

I never thought Godzilla movies were that scarey, but this one really scared the shit out of me. The reason is, Godzilla's costume, the music, and imagining myself in that kind of situation. Like imagine your working at that oil refinery while he is coming towards you

I remember watching this part of the movie when I was like 5 or 6, at first I was scared because I thought it was a giant worm coming out of the ground but then I saw it was Godzilla tail then Godzilla himself. Now that scared me even more because I shouted Ahhhhh! Its Godzilla then I covered myself under a blanket. I am half-japanese so I can say that.

Most(like this) weren't meant to scare, but to display action and fantasy. Though, I get being scared of this, I've been used to it since I was two. But thous Meganulon from Rodan, scared the Hell out of me.

Godzilla has had his good looks and his bad ones, 28 movies you've gotta expect some good with some bad... I also thought the Godzilla 1985 look was awesome, an Godzilla vs Biollante.. This was good as was his suit in KK vs G, His worst suits are the ones from Godzilla's Revenge an Godzilla vs Megalon.. both are terrible movies too i think.

The newer suits are cool, GMK 2001 was his best suit since the early 90's. Great movie too. Hope they have this look for the American Reboot

This is the best Godzilla suit ever. He really looked like a monster, his hide rough and jagged, eyes splendidly evil. He was NOT a good guy. I think they should have kept this suit and built extras. I really love the shot at 1:55 when his dorsal plates glow just before and while using his atomic breath. I always thought this was the best special effect and it looks better than all the other films. The new special effects do not look as good as this. Some things should be left alone.
