How To: Back Up Using Time Machine On Mac

Time Machine is an excellent utility in Mac OS 10 Leopard, and Snow Leopard. What Time Machine does: Using your External HD connected your Mac, Time Machine will automatically store a back up of your HD every set time. It is very easy to use and it can be a great life saver. When upgrading to Snow Leopard or any OS be sure to keep up a back up of your files. Time Machine is located in System Preferences. I recommend that you go get an External HD and use Time Machine everyday!

I got an external called my passport....i can use that to back up with time machine right

Western Digital My Passports will work with Time Machine fine. Time Machine will back up til the drive is full.
