@davemiester Not sure what you are referring to? Florida was 13-1 in 2008? Florida's only loss that year was to Ole Miss 31-30. Where did you get 3 losses? I can't remember a National Champion ever with 3 losses.

if it was automatic dismissal, then it would be Utah vs. Boise State. They get through their season playing patsies while Florida has to play teams like Georiga, Alabama, and others. Utah gets to play, I don't even know who they get to play, probably some Division 2 school through the whole season

Ridiculous, Utah played 6 teams that had 4 or less wins, Utah would never have gone undefeated in a power conference. Its admirable what Utah did, going undefeated is an amazing feat, but if UF played their schedule their average margin of victory probably would have been in the 80s.

Florida would have smoked Utah if they played. SEC is 6-2 in the bowl games this year.

the gators would have killed Utah. i will give uta that they beat Alabama but Florida has a better offense, better defense, and a better special teams than Alabama.

the SEC was down relatively speaking. Tonight conference-wise people said the Big 12 was better than the SEC this year. Did the SEC prove itself tonight?
