  • Thank You!!! That video was clear, to the point, and bad ass! Its funny AT&T's monopoly over the telephone industry failed, and now they are trying to reestablish a similiar power over the internet with the only goal being to increase their bottom line. Well fuck that, not on my watch!

  • thank you! yeah, i thought there needed to be more straightforward videos, that lay it all out there and get the point across. i know that i never understood net neutrality or what the big deal was until a friend explained it, and then i was like, "WTF?! why aren't people doing something about this?!"

    so, i did.

  • ok well thanks for taking the time and making the effort to clarify without getting all huffy.

yes, i suppose i *exaggerated* when i did the 'no internet for you' bit. (i think your word choice was off, that's what got me so upset)

and though they didn't deny us internet *yet* it could eventually come to that, and they are still denying us access to the internet priveleges we are entitled to.

  • Aren't you being a bit too radical? I understand that NN should prevail, but dang. Its a bit too radical.

  • radical?! HOW am i being radical?! haha, i think that is the FUNNIEST thing i have EVER heard.

what is so radical about making a silly video expressing my opinion and then posting it on the internet for a few people to see? it's nothing. there's so much more that can be done!

storming washington WOULD be radical, and even that might not be enough to save net neutrality.

    ...

o, you know, i bet it's the music...

    pssh. give me a break.

  • thank you tina. that is very nice of you. :-)

  • haha you look cute

  • @xBXRxAaron Glad to see that you are watching and are getting educated : )

  • @mrblujet Fox news is a wonderful place isn't it.

  • Wow - another video by a left-winger bitching about those "big bad corporations !!!!"

I am sure you were saying the same thing about health insurance companies. How do you feel now that you will be mandated - as in get fined or go to jail - to purchase health insurance come 2014? By the way, do you think you are going to pay the same amount then as you would now? And is government defined?

You Obama supporters will come to regret supporting net neutrality.

    Good luck !

  • Barack Obama has a "Christmas surprise" for the American people. It's based upon the FCC's self-imposed December 21 deadline to implement new Internet rules. Obama's FCC is ready to steal our Internet freedom by simply declaring it has the "right" to regulate it. His problem? Internet journalists tend to report the news without coloring it with the brush of "political correctness." They challenge the lies that the Obama puts out that the Mainstream Media simply accept and repeat as the truth.

  • Its starting to come back again. the fight for our internet. Verizon and google have joined their forces and they are going agenst net neutrality, Google has betrayed us all... mhhmmm, its funny. guess what else google owns... YOUTUBE! Yaa. We are screwed :(

  • I think your Beautiful, winning my vote ^.^

  • OMG the evil Corporations are going to take over the internet. Hurry everyone. Let the government take over the internet so the big bad corporations can't stop us from browsing. Oooooo.. The government will take care of us.... Give the government all the power and control.

  • What about now, you're leaving out one major company, it's Called the Obama admin. Pushing for their version of "Net Neutrality". Soon enough even Youtube (which in my opinion already has) will become (in Obama's view) "Net Neutral".

  • Net neutrality means that all legal websites are treated equally by internet service providers. Not having net neutrality means that ISPs could charge websites to have their websites made available to their customers or simply block them altogether. What kind of internet would it be if your ISP only let you use Amazon and not EBay? Oh, you say just switch to another one? One that only allows EBay and not Amazon?

The main reason the phone companies want it is to block websites like Skype.
