Chen Ligong, a biostatistician working at Washington DC area, began to learn violin playing in the spring of the year 1983, almost at his age 19 years old after he entered the Tongji Medical University in Wuhan, China in the September of 1982. Before that time he even couldn't read a music score and never touched any music instrument. He had been him self's teacher and never took a course from any other. This piece is recorded at home as a personal documentation.
