Science at UMF

The Sciences at Farmington cover a wide range of high-caliber programs: Biology, Geology; interdisciplinary programs in Geology/Geography, Environmental Science, and Environmental Planning and Policy; plus Pre-Med. The process of doing real science -- including observation, experimentation, measurement, sampling, and analysis -- are part of virtually every course. And all of the Science programs at Farmington combine classroom work, field and lab work. They also feature small classes and labs providing you with hands-on experience; the opportunity to work closely with your professors on a wide range of research projects; travel and field trip options (locally, nationally, and internationally); and more.
