Piano Competition Prep 2006-Clementi Sonatina Op 36 No 1-3

In 2006, Omar did a lot of hard work to prep for his presentation at the Steinway Young Artists Piano Competition.

This was his final clip before the event.

His selected repertoire is the Clementi Sonatina Op. 36 No. 1 - Movement 3 -Vivace.

The camera work is poor, as well as the sound. There is also a glitch in the video. It is still worth viewing! Omar shows his true potential in this clip...♪

Holy! How old is he? I played a sonatina by Clementi for a recital, but it's nowhere near as nice as this... Good playing!

Hello...it is the "first" one, if you are thinking of the Clementi Op 36 No 1: it is the 3rd movement (Vivace). You must be thinking of the 1st movement, which is very well known...Best wishes!♪
