  • I can't believe someone already posted this. They only just now started showing the trailers on TV, here. But then again, I do live in America. o:

Still, I can't wait to play this. I always love the Final Fantasy games. :D

  • i rather just watch the awesome fights.

  • @GreenQuasar understandable. the reason they did it is because they want the prologue worth interesting to watch in the way the battle flows in an epic way, introducing the main characters, creating the atmosphere, add a bit of battling involved temporarily and last but not least instead of having to watch cutscenes, you have to press buttons to interact with them.

  • awww... Caius wanted to pull and Cloud Aeris death scene

  • @937olter So I've noticed in the last one. Only in XIII, it didnt suck as much because you wern't watching a movie and tapping buttons accordingly is all im saying

  • @theyoungmrt well everything comes to your senses. you play the game and enjoy it, good for you. if you don't enjoy it then tough luck. im guessing that you're just more into its old style. i sort of dont like final fantasy VII as its style doesn't suit me but the story is just wants me to play more because its memorable and has the elements of comedy and tragedy. love and romance are just what pulls me. i guess they're not your genre. this is about changing the future through time travels.

  • @GreenQuasar but you battle twice during the long prologue. it's a new style of how games begin.

  • @GreenQuasar I hope I'm wrong. I used to love Final Fantasy as a kid. My best childhood memories involve Final Fantasy IV and staying up too late. VI also was a source of a lot of happiness for me. VII really wasn't a bad game, just a bad FINAL FANTASY game... I don't know if that makes sense. It didn't have what I loved about the series. But it did come at just the right time... When I was a teenager. VII really fulfilled that teen angst/rebellion thing that we all go through. I am an old man.

  • @theyoungmrt you do have a good point there. I admire your opinion.
