Exactly. Why do you need fucking guns? I can see why it was originally a good idea to put it in the constitution- it ensured that the populace could rise up against the govt if need be. In today's world, a few guns would do fuck all against tanks, helicopters, F-15s and cruise missiles. Nobody in the US needs to own a gun, not even for self-defence. It's ridiculous to think that you need to defend yourself with a gun.
