Having lived in Alaska for over 12 years, I would like to set the record straight on some of the comments made here. 1) Alaska could, if allowed, produce enough food to feed over 10 times it's population. Don't believe me? Contact the Co-operative Extension Office in Palmer. 2)Alaska is a field commanders nightmare and a partisans dream. An army of about 50-75k could hold off an invading force 10 times it size. 3)The answer is 'The Republic of Alaska'
Well in my opinion there could be a chance, because i mean if they can find a way to tap into some of the oil they have without ruining the environment up there, that would put some gold in the treasury, and for food, well they could just import, and when dealing with russia, who knows, they could cut a deal with china? Or they could just join other states and create a larger nation. I personally like the idea of a Republic of Cascadia that includes Alaska. But all that's just my view...
