I think the right shotgun makes the best home defense weapon.

I believe in the Second Amendment as it is interpreted by the NRA. However, why in America are there so many criminals with firearms? Our government appears incapable of keeping firearms out of the hands of felons while at the same time our government is seemingly trying to take away firearms from law abiding citizens.

electango: You are right. Here is why: criminals face prison time for using a gun in their crimes BUT they face the death penalty for NOT using a gun, as Ronnie Preyer found out the hard way. A criminal determined to commit murder, rape, or robbery does not fear a gun law.
Gun-grabbers tend to be very emotional people. They believe they would kill in anger if they had a gun handy. They should shoot on the range, feel the kick, experience the explosion, and get a healthy respect for guns.

More reasons to defend the 2nd Amendment. Also it makes you sick to think they kept letting the !$@* out of jail. He should have never been allowed to be free.

If that was Canada she would become the criminal and face time. He would become the victim and probably have a memorial built at a local school or something sick like that. Plus he's black so he's automatically defended cause he's a minority, so it also turns into a hate crime and her sentence is now doubled.

If this would have happened here in germany, the woman would face many years in jail.

In a case here in germany where a student defended himself against 4 attackers with a very small decoration knife and stabbed the attacker that had already beaten down his friend in the throat.

The student who defended himself was sentenced to more then 3 years in prison and had to pay 12,000 Euros to the attacker. He was also forced by the judge to apology to his attacker.

Nice, huh?
