I decided to look around for global warming skeptics to research the other side, and this was one of the first things I found. Wow. The four bicyclists of the apocalypse? Can someone point me to some global warming skeptics that could pass high school physics?

He has no clue as to the emissions that exit your vehicles tailpipe. You have Hydrocarbons, Nitrogen Oxides(NOx), Carbon Monoxide, and Carbon Dioxide. Not just Carbon Dioxide. I hate when people like him act like they know the science behind an issue they are uneducated about.

One man driving a car (weight = 3,500 lbs) requires much more energy than four bike riders (300 lbs ea. x 4=1,200 lbs). Based on weight alone, all four bikers need only 1/3 of the energy required to power the car. If all four drove a car, it becomes a 12-fold difference. That's basic energetics. This is a creation-based outfit bent on distorting facts to maintain control over their supporters. They don't want people educated because they might begin to as questions and hurt their bottom line.

ok well then my next question is.. what specifically do you believe is distorted by them.. what facts are they distorting.. is it possible that they simply in their scientific opinion interpret the evidence differently? is it possible that they could in fact be right because all evidence is interpreted and there are very few things that can be labeled as a brute fact?

I don't doubt that they well-meaning. My point is that their business is helping others and enjoying and sharing their faith. That's a constitutional right, and I defend their right to do so. However, when they distort the facts in order to subvert the science associated with global climate change, they are intentionally deceiving the public for their own personal gain. I am writing to expose the behavior that others might be forewarned of these groups.
