@gtrjoeles ...no kidding...ya, i looked on 'songster' that i recently found and it was on there,and i got it sounding alittle like it,then i seen your lesson and thought that was pretty wild,mainly cause its hard to figure out...it has been a song i always wanted to try to learn...i wonder if some of the guitar work is in open 'd' tuning?i've only been playing about 3yrs and i know what ya mean by 'revisiting' a song or riff,in my case it happens alot,lol...thanks again my man!!

@coalsampler147 I think it may be in open D (it looks like that's what Kevin plays open D live on his 12 string-but retuning a 12 string to open D is such a pain and these are the same chords you would be playing anyhow. Joe

some videos, it is in open D, others, it is in open E(like the one where he plays it with just his thumb)

im the same way abt my 12 string applause , it stays in 'E; my six string is a different story. ur 12 sounds good and im lokin forward 2 addin this song to my list of 12 string songs the way ur playin it. thanks
