You are such a beautiful person. I've never lost a parent, but I've almost lost my mom a few times, most recently being last year. I think that was the first time I really realized just how close I was to losing her. And the same feelings struck me, that she might not be there to see me get married or have children. It really sucks and it scares me, even now. I'm sending love and prayers to you and to Kayla! <3

My father died before i was born and i never really thought about it and i tried to put it out of my mind and try not to let it bog me down, and i am now a senior in high school and when filling out college applications i realized that he isn't going to be there and it hit me, harder than i would have ever thought it would have. thank you for the video, it touching, and it helps me deal with my loss. I hope you are well

Have a good relationship. He told me he would never leave, but be did anyway. It was the hardest thing I could handle. The memory book is a GREAT idea!

None of my parents died, but my dad left me when I was 7. It's like losing him though. He won't be there when I need him to be there. He was the person I loved the most. He was my best friend. Whenever I think about him, or I see him in a picture, I cry. I used to get angry at myself because I could have done better to treat him with more respect. I was young, and I had my moments. I always thought that was why he left me. But when I started to get older, I realized it was because my mom didn't

I lost my dad in year 12 so 5 years ago he had a series of strokes and his last one was the be all and end all one basically, I didn't really cry either at the time and haven't much, every now and then I will if I see a photo or if something reminds me of him I will but I think its just the reaction as to how people deal with death. Its a weird feeling and I think as time goes by it does become a lot more obvious that they wont be around. I know what you mean. Chin up <3

You don't know me that well but.. I came across this because I saw a link to your youtube on facebook and I'm really glad that I somehow found this. My mom died when I was 12. I'm actually 14. You're extremely inspiring and you kind of remind me of an older version of myself.. as weird as that sounds LOL. But yeah, this made me feel better. Thanks for posting this :)

I lost my dad 6 months ago, he was my best friend. He passed away 2 weeks before I graduated High School. It's probably the hardest thing I've ever had to go through in my life.
