Looking back, it's really strange that I made that comment on this video, since I do actually know that Lindy was born in NZ & can hear the subtle NZ accent coming through her AU one.
I think I'd been watching a lot of videos about the case when I made the comment, & was making more of a general observation of the accents I'd seen across all the videos, as opposed to being directly about Lindy. Still, a bit stupid & irrelevant for me to have posted it on here. Derp.

Meryl Streep totally nails that accent! She sounds just like one of us (an Aussie)!
I should've expected that Meryl Streep would be the only actress in all of America to do a decent Australian accent.

@tomposton21 ...because they're extremely talented at what they do. I'd rather look at someone with a face like Meryl acting a character brilliantly than suffer through 2hrs of some stereotyped idiot like Paris Hilton try to cram her bullshit "acting" down my throat.
