  • Very helpful video. I'm thinking about getting the Press N Snap and see that there are a number of dies. I'm just starting out and wondering what size would be a standard size for leather bracelets? What size do most people use? Thanks.

  • @PlayaFairy the Pres N Snap (when ordered from the manufacturer) comes with the dies for setting the line 24 snaps as shown in the video. These are the most-used heavy-duty snaps. The line 20 snaps are less burly - if you want to set these you will need to purchase the dies separately. Segma snaps are the most-used lightweight snaps - i don't think the pres n snap has a die set for these, but if so it would be also referred to as line 16 snaps.

Hope that helps - thanks for viewing!

  • How did you make the holes in your leather?

  • @ronnigphotography with a standard leather punch, either a rotary punch or drive punches. Thanks for watching!

  • Hey,what kind of leather would you recomend for making a leather jacket?

  • @Sh4dowsUnited garment leather or sheep hide work well... that's a general answer for a general question... the type of jacket would be necessary info for a more precise answer. thanks for watching!

  • Thank you! Very helpful.

  • good demo although i just successfully used my "bad" tools to set snaps in a bunch of bracelets. We'll see how they hold up. the key to using the crappy tools is, like you say, hold it straight.

  • Thanks for the video. Not only did you give a great demonstration, I loved that you shared what tools work best for you!!! :)

  • I learned a lot from your demo , thanks , that explains my previous failures. Do you have a source for high quality American -made snaps ?

  • @grenouilleMAB That could be the nicest thing anyone's said to me all week! Thanks ;-)
