Actually... if you compare the raw-files, the Nikon 1 sensor beats the crap out of m43 sensors.. AND the AF i is lightyears faster then any mirrorless camera..

AND it takes many times more frames per second then any other mirrorless camera..

AND it looks ALOT more sexy then any other mirrorless camera..

I cannot find any reason to buy any other mirrorless camera then a Nikon 1.

Mostly agree, but come on, it's cost price cannot be like you said, around 25% of the market price. Because it's new design, new circuitry, including sensor and image processor (although expeed is there, they need to incorporate it into silicon anew, so it's costly), there're new lens designs that cost money etc. Otherwise, I agree, 1 is a strange thing, I would rather have x100.

@Dombowerphoto Im not sure but they were released to the press at the same time. Im realy not sure if they are reeleasing them in the UK at the same time.

I just bought a 2nd hand Olympus pen epl1 and Nikon lens adapter for around 130 quid. Works great with my F1.8 nifty fifty and is much much cheaper than this 1 series.

@arubaforever exactly. PLUS just like people have instant capabilities of uploading their pictures to facebook and other webpages through the use of their phones. Point and shoots have their fate slowly, but surely, approaching them.

I use my phone to take the snap shots and use the beefier DSLR for the pro type stuff...don't understand this nikon camera at all, especially the price.
