I am a nurse and a hep C patient. I have seen many liver biopsies and have had 3 of my own. Honestly, it is scarier ti watch than to have one. I agree with Gerard - the anxiety was worse than the procedure. As for bleeding, if your platelets are normal. bleeding is uncommon.
