  • What a beautiful mind this lady possesses! This playing is so chaste, pure, perfectly controlled and absolutely sincere it's enough to take one's breath away.

I love too her elegant posture and tasteful appearance.

  • Wonderful. This is Bach - not some performer's ego interfering.

  • this is really beautiful, the fugue speed i really like, pity the video seems out of sync with the music

  • If you enjoy this video, have a look at: Well Tempered Joy

  • Great !!!

  • very outstanding performance.

  • Holy. The way she played that fugue....what a brilliant interpretation. I didn't think that type of clarity was possible, best version of this song I've heard.

  • @yourforte How sad it is to believe there is only one way to play any piece of music. Any rational person knows this only leads to sameness, which is regression. Enjoy the music. Aprreciate the difference, you may soon see that the difference is what makes experience richer when you listen to your favorite version.

  • YES! No one can hold a candle to Angela Hewitt when it comes to expressing counterpoint! I hope she lives really LOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooong so she can keep entertaining us with her playing!

  • @Lavsimon

yeah this is Bach, but without wig this time!

you see what happens, if you take it off...
