I love The Train Engine On The End. Made in 1952

I'll say.

Quite a history there. This engine has been all over the place.

cool, nice loco on the back of the train!
-
In the Fall leaves fall on the track and leave a residue causing slippery conditions for trains. This train only runs in the Fall months when leaves are falling the most only.

why do you need rail washers?

That is SPAX 622, former LIRR Power Pak 622 made from EMD F7 ex B&O 4524, previously B&O 265. It used to contain gel dispensing equipment, and might still, but it is no longer used for that, just as a cab car now.
