High Quality - This one could be subtitled "Good Morning, North Wales!" as SEPTA Rail Washer #2 with WCRR 1803 leading and SPAX 622 trailing blows through North Wales PA at 3:00 in the morning as they do 6 times a week during leaf season October 22 2008

  • What sort of ALCO is leading the train?

  • Former Canadian Pacific RS18u built at Montreal Locomotive Works

  • What engine was that on the back?

  • That is SPAX 622, former LIRR Power Pak 622 made from EMD F7 ex B&O 4524, previously B&O 265. It used to contain gel dispensing equipment, and might still, but it is no longer used for that, just as a cab car now.

  • I love The Train Engine On The End. Made in 1952

  • I'll say.

  • Quite a history there. This engine has been all over the place.

  • cool, nice loco on the back of the train!

  • In the Fall leaves fall on the track and leave a residue causing slippery conditions for trains. This train only runs in the Fall months when leaves are falling the most only.

  • why do you need rail washers?
