Exactly Jesus is merely a metaphor of the sun and a certain species of hallucinogenic mushroom that will take you to "heaven." hehe.. It's really not much different than the beliefs of the Aztec Indian religion that worshipped the sun and their sacred psilocybin mushrooms they called the flesh of the gods... same thing as The Flesh of Christ.. Jesus is the serpent in Genesis, bringing knowledge/gnosis through psychedelic enlightenment via the forbidden fruit, the medicine.

Bible thumpers don't follow the Jesus myth, they follow Yaweh, the EL, the Old Testament God, the planet Saturn/satan/set. The God that despises mankind and drowned the world. Opposed to the death penalty? Oh, really? Then why did He institute it? Just one verse is Leviticus 24:17 which says, "Whoever kills any man shall surely be put to death." There are so many more verses on this.

Those who believe in any ancient scriptures' fairy tales are not rational.
E.g. the gospels were all made up and written 100+ years after the supposed Christs birth. They were even written by Gnostics who did not believe in any messiah in the flesh, it is allegorical and has astrological origins.
Later the myth was manipulated, 'carnalized' and further falsified in early medieval times.
In church councils (e.g. Nicea) they even 'voted' for that made-up phantom Jesus to 'make' him a 'son of god'.
