In this doc Lang Lang talks more than good sense in all sorts of ways, has very good grasp of Chopin's F minor, and displays his secure technique to great effect. He violates the "protocols of proper bevavior" for classical music, and is often disliked for this, but we have here a mature artist behind the appearances, who deserves more serious attention than he gets, at least sometimes. But he can blow them big, too, and does, regularly.

Why do people like Lang Lang. He has poor taste in his choice of dynamics and can't play a complete phrase without exaggeration. It's always more about him than the music.
