Video footage from the 2010 Alaska Wilderness Ski Classic held in the Brooks Range. The race starts at Galbraith Lake and racers are required to navigate their way to the finish line in Wiseman, AK - with a mandatory stop at a checkpoint in the Eskimo village of Anaktuvuk Pass. The race is not supported and racers must carry all their gear. Our route was approximately 180 miles and took just over 5 days.
I need to do this race. Maybe this year....
