I have no problem with voting. We have to deal with the real world right now. Proudhon who is the father of modern anarchism actually ran for public office in France. He supported gradual change within society. Work now to create alternatives to government and reduce the need for government and also work to morph the state in a more libertarian/anarchist direction. Spooner also favored voting as a means of self defense against the state.

left libertarian have alot in common with right libertarians (libertarian Party) on freedom in general. The difference is that LLs are concerned with the poor and finding solutions to empower the power so as to reduce the need for government. Worker co-ops, cooperative housing, education, healthcare, etc are all apart of LL thinking.

I think anarchist should all vote, but don't worry about campaigning. People read votes as the ultimate polling system. It's basically the most important poll on that issue. So vote, because it's little energy. Campaigning might be a waste of time and money, I'll give you that, but why not just participate in a poll. It helps show your not as fringe as people think. That you aren't the only one supporting freedom.
