FightHype.com was on hand as former light heavyweight king Roy Jones Jr., who arrived wearing a crown and a robe fit for a king, weighed in at an even 175 on his first attempt. It took Anthony Hanshaw, however, three trips to the scale before he was able to lose enough weight to make the 175lbs. limit. Check it out!

  • Ahead of the Bastille Day 2007 fight between Roy Jones Jr. and Anthony HANshaw, HANshaw was managed by bRYAN JUSTus and trained by Floyd mayWEATHER Sr. Surname JUSTus could remind of some blacks’ view of the criminal justice system: “There’s JUSTICE and there’s JUST US”. Public directories show a bRYAN JUSTus at PALINdrome 2112 PEYTON DR, Las Vegas, NV. Unrelated: NFL INDIANAPOLIS Colts QB PEYTON MANning despite Gulf Cost birth (New Orelans) and this fight in the region in I-10 connected biLOXi

  • Ahead of their Bastille Day 2007 fight, Roy Jones Jr.'s opponent Anthony HANshaw (needs D for HANDshaw) said of the fight venue: "I am getting sick of all this King Roy crap...My people are calling the hotel and the operators answer by saying, 'This is the home of Roy Jones.' And look at the posters and billboards and TV ads. They have my name so small you need a magnifying glass to see it. I will make Jones pay in that ring." Unrelated: genital tampering--despite HANshaw's " magnifying glass"

  • Unrelated to “the proper order of things” as it relates to generational succession: “Law & Order” actress ePATHa SHARON MERKERSON turned 36 years old 57 days after Roy Jones Jr. lost the gold medal at the Seoul Games--NOV. 28, 1988. Presumably, she’s not related to Jones’ trainer ALton “Coach” MERKERSON, who ahead of Jones’ Bastille Day 2007 fight with Anthony HANshaw (neeeds D for HANDshaw), verbally sparred with trainer FLOYD MayWEATHER Sr. after MayWEATHER called Jones “a glass-chinned bum”

  • Unrelated to Cinderella's glass SLIPPER or boxer Roy Jones Jr. winning the SILVER medal in a disputed bout at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, South KOREa: boxer Antonio ADAMe lost his first professional fight at the SILVER Slipper, in Las Vegas, NV (10/15/75) to Roy Jones Sr. Surname ADAMe has an oddball “extra E”, which Newark, NJ mayor CORY Booker could use to correct his “skipping E” bastardization of traditional COReY. Jones Sr. lost a fight to Newark, NJ-born Marvelous Marvin Hagler on 6/10/77

  • yup he jus beat trinidad..now he about 2 fight joe calzaghe n november..i think roy will win by split decision..

  • you're not a hater, you just don't understand. Ok...roy would fight undefeated fighters, fighters that never've been knocked down he's knocked out. fighters with winning streaks, he would break, when talent is that high in a person, anybody who he fights will look like a novice. that's why CRITICS would say his opponents were nothing. YA'LL MUST'VE FORGOT!

  • walkyerr, just because I said MANY of the people jones fought were limited, suddenly I'm a hater? Hmmm, interesting. So good was Jones that he got beat more than once by Tarver..... and Tarver SUCKS.

  • You fucking hater listen, Roy MADE HIS OPPONENTS LOOK FOOLISH no matter who they were. HE'S JUST THAT GOOD

  • brocky he had undeniable talent of course, but his legacy WAS built on fighting bums except for toney. As for beating hopkins, hopkins was not that great back when he fought jones, Nothing like he became later.

  • im glad he's winning again even though the talent level of his opponents aren't that great. It was sad to see him go down to Glenn and Tarver. I hope those fights doesn't tarnish his legacy.
