The Price of Ministry
Those who attended the Dallas Fire Conference (Nov 2008) heard in-depth teaching on several subjects. One of the most riveting explained a deeper understanding of both the call and tests we can expect as believers who desire to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Every believer is called, Pastor Benny said, but the Bible makes it clear that few are chosen. Once you are called, you will go through tests.
Citing numerous examples throughout the Bible, from Elisha to the apostles, Pastor Benny outlined 10 tests you will go through after you are called—tests that will determine whether or not you will be chosen.
I agree with majority of the teaching by pastor benny, but some of the things he claims are the resposibilty of the man of God's helper should be done by the wife or the helpmeet! In times of great destress i dont want an armor bearer i want my wife! that is what she is there for...ministry has distinction!

...in as much as wat u r sayin is very true...there is a reason why he's sayin its necessary for your spouse's parents to be saved...at the level he is on (evn pple lyk Reinhard, Oral Roberts and many more) they have learnt that wen u marry, u dont jus marry the person, the family/parents will have an influence on your relationship...and its something worth avoidin if you can...
At the end of the day...you need God to guide you and help you make the correct decision...
Bless yah...

I love Pastor Benny's teachings but one thing i don't agree with is what he said about what to llok for in a mate. we are living in a day and time where you have young people getting saved before his/her parents so its unfair to judge the quality a person by their parents back ground there are people who came from wonderful backgrounds yet still they themselves have went in another direction.
