Bloods and Crips killing each other,crack, AIDS,war in Central America, Reagan,two recessions, increase in homelessness,Rise in Moral Majority fundie Christian Conservativism,increased tension with Russia and out of control military spending, tax cuts for rich,releasing the mentally Ill onto the streets, and VALLEY GIRLS!!!!AHHHHHH!:O

@McSpacerson Yes...the 80's are alive and well in the city. I've been to the 80's dance at Mighty....and looking forward to the Depeche Mode night on Dec 2nd....can't wait. There is also a restaurant/club in Bellflower in Los Angeles that is 80's every single day.
