  • nice video....really a good one...what did u put in that jar??

  • @ammu8705 It was nectar made of sugar and water boiled and cooled.

  • hehe nice video (and great choice of music)

why does the bird kinda stop eating almost every second, is it because it's scared of predators or just that it needs to swallow?

  • I think it's because like all birds, they seem to need to straighten their necks when they swallow. Even when I watch Ducks drinking, they tip their heads back. And basically, these little guys are drinking.

  • cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • aww i love these little guys

  • The world's smallest bird is the Bee Hummingbird. Their throat is called the gorget and it "lights" up because of iridescence through the feathers :)

  • This made me smile ..thank you for a beautiful little movie!

  • i have a zebra finch named Rosy that is smaller

  • i used to own the second one 0:33

  • Thankyou for this wonderful peice of film of the most amazing little birds. (Or pieces of life!) Nice to see some respect for Nature here, I cannot do the things that you do, so I thank you for your work. Here in UK we do not have such "high octane" birds, but we do have very vulnerable ones, and I strive to care for them, just as you care for your hummers. (I am no good with a camera, or technology, or I would try to send you some English bird pix.) Take care and keep up your good work.

  • Serious 24, The throat (gorget) reflects light at certain angles, rudy throuats are red, Rufous tend to be more orange some tropical hummingbirds are bright green
