Steve landed at a D.A of 9500 ft in California, as for the Eagle its stillborn the RR guys say nothings happening,The nice things about Experimentals you can fix the designs short commings, & to think it started with the RotorMouse and Don Hillberg meeting with Dave Domanski in Corona Ca.

@airkraftinc ....I know, Just saying. I remember my father bringing me to work and I would sit up on his bench watching him build the first versions of the Executive. It was so cool going from the Scorpion to this.

To bad they never tried to improve the body. It is so flimsy especially around the doors.

The are now offering the Rotorway Eagle with a new body design and turbine engine. I don't see Rotorway redesigning the body of the 162F this far into production. This task will probably fall to an owner/ builder as an aftermarket modification, if this happens at all.
