  • It's hard to ignore the thoughts when they're just bursts as "say blah or x will die."

  • i had those too and not only about a girl. i would sit in a class and have that about everyone:(

again try to just let them come to you and relax. let them be and soon enought they will start disappearing because your mind will get "bored" with a thought. and just know that you're not going to do this no matter what is running through your mind :)

  • @MultiMikko1234 All I can do is offer advice. First recognize that they are just thoughts and totally harmless no matter fucked up they get. Second DO NOT sit and dwell on them or let them stop you from doing what you love. Third what fuels them is anxiety and fear and you must not allow yourself to have either this may take time. And last your mind can play twisted games with you for sure but this DOES NOT mean your losing your sanity! KEEP THE FAITH NO MATTER WHAT!!!!

  • @TheGenuinejenny how strong and how often r the thoughts?

  • @nightcrawler511 my ocd just developed...and looks like i'm having the same pattern as you..only that i had the period where everything was fine , i was just being ..like letting the thoughts come and then letting them go.

  • @palkiabros

    I hear you.... :(

I am wasting my life because of them...

  • @philosophyheal No, he's contrasting OCD with sociopathy/phychopathy. The latter were always this way and always will be, while OCD people have these thoughts and rituals develop over time (and don't act on thoughts involving harming other people) and can learn to deal with the thoughts and anxiety.

  • dealing this 5 years and continuing ugh from religious thoughts to murder thoughts to religous thoughts, to depression etc..

  • what this guy says reminds me of one of my sisters who is the black sheep of the family. the only person she is sorry for is herself...

  • I have a constant obsession with the thought of stabbin myself in my heart. ive been hurt&used, but it never crossed my mind to revenge my predators, although i had many chances. It just makes me wanna destroy myself instead...

  • If anyone of you want to chat with me about your ocd experience you can add me on mom (mapofmates) / mia
