  • what is the name of the paint on plastic that you used (when the other coatings did not work)?

  • @kenkthulhu I was looking at something called Foam Coat. There is a risk in this as unless you completely coat the foam pieces inside and out, you run the risk of the foam flexing and cracking the foam coat, which is what was happening with the glue and such. Putting the plastic coating is not necessary, you can seal the foam with the Canvas sealer that artists use, and do a bang up paint job on the armor with acrylics, ensuring that the paint has some flex with the foam and not cracking.
