The truth is that amalgam "silver" fillings are mainly composed by MERCURY (not silver) and they pose a risk (1%, in the words of the toxicologist, collaborator of the World Health Organisation, Prof. Dr. Maths Berlin) for the health of the amalgam bearers, as well as the health of the dentists and other dental personnel who work (inadequately) with dental amalgams. [Plus the risks for environment -- so amalgams, all in all, pose a risk also for economy of patients/States).
