I get to make some pretty important points in this October 22, 2011 panel, including why the demand for specific goals from the Occupy Movement is old-media thinking - what's the headline? what's the lead story? - and fails to take into account the capacity for complex, multi-issue discussion with social media such as Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and YouTube. I also discuss the Occupy Movement as a resurgence of direct democracy, and emphasize the need for police to respect the First Amendment. Joining me with clearly articulated views across the political spectrum are Nicole Gelinas, Jed Morey, Basil Smikle, and Thomas Borelli, anchored by Tai Hernandez on Fox-NY's Good Day Street Talk. • Incase I'm not being clear, if ows is the revolution, then the revolution has been fought and is over with and the counter-revoultionaires won.

  • @Jblod240 In your imagination. I reality, the revolution has just begun.

  • It's funny to hear them talk in retrospect. Its clear now that they've had no effect on anything but providing right leaning people with ample fodder to hurl at their opponents.

The right merely shows clips of these erratic protesters and says, "choose" and predictably people who are on the fence, who were willing to be convinced, find themselves repulsed. Ah well...

  • @Jblod240 You're no doubt talking about yourself, and it's no loss.

  • I like their set up of far left (blue tie) main stream (yello tie) and far right(red tie) so you can see a difference in views

  • @casanovaarmy Actually, I had on a purple tie, consistent with my progressive libertarian perspective :)

  • @FredIsMyName22 My pleasure!

  • @Finlandcitizen Yes, the NYPD - New York City police - obstructed press coverage of the Zuccotti Park protesters - a dangerous and unconstitutional act in addition to the eviction itself.

  • Thanks for posting this.
