A Capuchin Monkey uses a a rock and a log as hammer and anvil to crack palm nuts for food in the cerrado of Brazil.

Unfortunately, we see a lot of these monkey as a pet. They are funny and smart, but let them live happily in wilderness not our home

Amazing what this behavior could do to his anatomy in the long haul. I figure a few million years and they would be similar to homo habilis :)

This behavior is eye opening. By utilizing rocks as tools and walking on two legs, these capuchin monkees are strenghening their back muscles and realizing the advantages of freeing their hands for further tool use. Several generations of this behavior may lead to walking upright altogether. If that is not a mirror image of our evolution, I don't know what is. Darwin would be proud.

@architenn actually, it is not tourism at all. This video was taken by a university researcher in a protected area.
