An extreme art decco fan, model D12-A6-01, 12" with silent blades that push alot of air. Weird oscillator knob, you must use a coin to turn the oscillation on or off. Oscillating mechanism hidden within the motor-bullet. The large capacitor is in the fan base. Entire fan including blades is steel and rather heavy. NOS, and in perfect condition.

  • Thanks!

You are right, 6-pole. The blades are extremely steep-pitched. Motor is quite powerful with that capacitor in the circuit. And this fan is well made and quite heavy!

  • I have this exact fan, it wa a wedding present to my parents back in the 1940's. It still runs perfect! What else made today lasts over 60 years with continuous use? Everything today is crap!

  • Very nice R & M. I believe those are 6-pole motors, which means low RPM's and silent running.

I think those actually trump the Emerson 77 fans for quietness.

  • wow never heard one run before maybe neaver will lol!
