But he is looking to see if we are worthy enough to stand before Him. The only reason why we are here on Earth is to see if we are truly worthy of the gifts God bestows upon us. If we are, we get the unending happiness. If we don't, we are completely absent of his grace, which is Hell. It's not like God wants us to burn forever, but he lets you choose your own "destiny" and this is something that we determine with every decision we make on Earth. So make the right choices, and you will be fine.

God created evil? So he created evil as a pitfall for humanity? You cannot claim God as good if He dangles evil in front of us as a test. Knowing we are beings who can fall, this would be foolish of an omniscient being. If He wants us all to be the best we can be, He would put no limit in front of us to hinder our endless boundaries with Him.

"... if you will not embrace Him evil will lure you to the darkness and satan will consume you."
lol, you are still missing the point but "Satan will consume you" very evocative. Are you selling redemption or accident insurance, I can't tell.

Why would a perfect and good god give "satan rights in this world"? It makes no, zero, none sense. Either something you assume to know of god, or evil, or both, is wrong.

Instead of just repeating the same, shallow, sales pitch, question it.

Yes its free will but it does not mean that God rewards those who believed him and punish those who not..God acts as the light..and if you will not embrace Him evil will lure you to the darkness and satan will consume you.
Even God gave satan rights in this world, let Him guide you and you will have a happy life :)

I'm familiar with the blackmail Christianity uses to convince and threaten it's followers with. Fortunately I find it a completely superficial argument.
1. It's not a free choice if god then steps back in and punishes or rewards our choice.
2. It's obviously unjust to punish limited infractions with infinite punishment.
3. God set the parameters so it's also his fault if he allowed evil.
4. If god allows evil he must in part, BE evil or there is nowhere for evil to come from
5. It's just silly.

I LOVE singing and listening to Gregorian Chant, I had just ridden 8 hours to get there at 9:00 at night and just walking into the chapel at a Catholic Apostolic school and young men singing Gregorian Chant and I was just so moved.

If we don't give Him the credit He so truly deserves, then would you really disagree? Its as if He opens his arms to you, then you spit on his feet, curse him, and walk away. This was Lucifer's fall, and his fall is a demonstration of what we should do so this doesn't happen to us all. Yes, God did create evil, but out of his endless love, he wants us to be all we can possibly be, so why not reward us with an option of what is right? It makes him even greater! :)

@MaxSafeheaD You are along the lines of God casting out humans from Heaven. Lucifer is believed to be the most powerful of all the angels, and MAYBE had free will, we don't truly know. What if my father died and was cast into hell? Even though he had a mind and soul created by God? He made the CHOICE, and this choice is the one which God damns to hell with the one responsible. We are given the gidt of life, and how we use it determines are place in eternal happiness.

*big smile* im with max n golden on the matter of homosexuality and "badness"-- ppl r born gay, science proved it, not like it matters to a lot of u, but it does matter to society since we r beneficiaries of modern medicine nd hospitals, & technology. now, if god created the world, his and ours, then all things subsequently are due to him, if the same god is all knowing, he is very well cognicent of all human behavior -- or what he created when he made the tree of knowledge n KNEW they'd eat....

When you put it like that your ideology sounds pretty close to mine! I just don't believe in a supernatural god.
