They were overlooked in the Uk when they started late 60s early 70s

@punditpete also I seem to remember nights in white satin was held off the top slot by rolf 2 little boys so what chance had genuine music

@punditpete you have to imagine disc jockeys like Tony Blackburn etc who openly hated progressive rock and played dummed down pap to the masses on radio 1 putting such as Picketywitch and other such purile nice guy pop music first. The frustration by fans of BJH,King Crimson, Yes, Genesis, Moodies and so on and so on was not seen by the radio producers only people like John Peel and Bob Harris carried the banner for real music so BJH who were, like many other good bands without a hit single.
