Here's Larry on the black yidaki given to me by Raymond Marpin, Larry was pretty keen to test n record this and the other stick given to me by Honeyboy. So here it is coming to you in 3D HD.

The didgeridoo itself is of amazing construction, I was intrigued to see a natural horn-shaped bell end - all termite eaten. The walls of the instrument are of optimal thickness throughout and natural at that, except for near the mouthpiece where slivers of excess wood have been whittled off with a paring knife. Beautiful sounding yidaki in a deeper key, I think D or E flat or E, that has high back pressure and textured acoustics at the same time. This was Raymond's stick that he has had for this year, 2011, cut in the Gapuwiyak vicinity and used personally for recreation/entertainment and also in ceremony in Gapuwiyak.
