Survivor Dad here: I appreciate the comments and the enthusiasm of my viewers. To address one of the comments posted here, I think most couples would be surprised on their financial situation if the math was done. Considering the cost of childcare, transportation, and all the other costs involved with TWO parents working, not to mention the time away from your child (which you can't get back) and the majority of people have very little left when it comes to money int the bank.

If I need to be a stay at home dad. My wife better be expecting the lights replaced with dim ones and the walls painted chrome, a few smoke machines scattered around and Dry ice almost everywhere with wires on the wall if she goes to a job.

I believe in stay at home fathers as I think if a woman wants a career, then he should support her. I do not have any children, but I would stay at home with the children to be supportive of my wife.
