FTC Energy's Low Wind, Roof-Mounted HAWT. This low cost turbine uses the whole structure of a building to capture and direct wind into the blades. Will capture wind from many directions. Uses the new FTC Energy HiAmp Generators and our latest blade design. There is a screen in front of the turbine which can make it nearly invisible on your roof. Operates with a single generator.
*If your house is at least 30' high and you place a 36' line of our new turbines across the roof peak, you will make 5 kW at 12 mph with wind normal to the turbines. This assumes wind normal to the turbines and all the wind gathered efficiently hits the turbines.
