Louisiana Republican Rep. Valarie Hodges supported a bill that would send state funds to help send kids to private religious schools. That is, until she realized Christianity wasn't only religion practiced in America. Some of those funds will be going to Muslim teachings too! Oh, no!

Gee ignorant fundies, read some history. Ever wonder why the founding fathers had that 'freedom of religion' thingie in the constitution? Because Europeans spent the previous two centuries ripping their guts and heads off on religious wars? Wouldn't be all that bad an idea, watching nuts ripping each others' heads off, fighting over who was right, Baptists or Methodists, and who should be teaching 'the correct doctrine' in government-funded religious schools. Yeah, that might be amusing.

I find it funny that Christians love and trust science 99% of the time. To clean their water, build their cars, fly their planes, create more bombs, and produce their medicine it's the greatest thing in the world. However, when those same scientists (using the same scientific method) come to the conclusion that the earth is more than 6000 years old, dinosaurs existed, or that we share a common ancestors with apes, suddenly scientists can't be trusted. Keep religion out of schools.
