President Obama Walks Across Lafayette Park to US Chamber of Commerce - StopTheChamber.com - With National Nurses United and others, and interview with Ralph Nader.
Obama needs to STAND behind the people or face opposition from another primary contender for Democratic candidate (ie. a Democratic Party can run two presidential candidates even if one of the candidates is an incumbent--presidential office included).
I am completely in agreement that the Chamber of Commerce is rotten and ruthless for republicans. Ralph Nader though is a real idiot who I would never support for any position. I hate the Chamber of Commerce and the way the poured millions of dollars to the most ignorant tea party fools and other republicans who have no intellgence to do a decent job for the government.
President Obama has to deal with these thugs of the corporate right. He has to get some cooperation from them so that America can survive. They have been his enemy but I think he hopes that once he is able to meet with them they will see that he is a good person and that he can change some minds to get busy and do the right thing. Worthless perhaps, but he did this for the country and for all of us. We need President Obama to have a 2nd term to get some very good legislaton enacted
Nader lends a very strong voice here and I am glad that that he is present. He can help the American people help Obama with the pendalin swing. Nader's been right all along about corporate take overs hell even FDR pretty much told the Chamber to f themselves and the American people stood hard and strong with their president.
When Obama chanted, "Yes, we can", he meant he can fool the people. And that he did. He's a phony! Now he's beholden to the corporatocracy for money to fool you once again for re-election. I'm just so glad he wasn't able to fool me -- I voted Nader! :)
