  • @flanksteak2 This is an interesting question. I'll to answer in short form. There are many planes because there are minerals i.e. easy and quick money. You find cassiterite, coltan and more. These are used in lucrative IT industry. Who will be resking their life landing a plane on road if no "big" is involved through the process?

  • I already witnessed 7 planes there waiting to take off... It's much closer to Mubi than Walikale by the way. I did land there with L-410 once, no seat belt for passenger, cargo not secured at all. Was the last time with these L-410!
