AGAIN I DID THIS VIDEO NOT FOR SYMPATHY BUT ONLY TO EXPLAIN.!!!Old and new friends of mine ask my why I no longer do kung fu, shotgun, hiking, kayaking videos. so instead of spending tons of time explaining what it is i have I have finaly made a brief as I could make it video of what of the things that effects me. The other things only my closest of friends and family know so pls dont ask if you dont know.
Something that I did not explain in the video was how mine got so bad. I grew up that if your a man you work through your pain and if you are hurt just walk it off. So that is what I did. My symptoms started when I was about 21. I ignored them and just kept doing what I did. teach kung fu. offroading. working as a butcher. lift heavy things. like a 300lb halibut once. and when it got worse i would just take more pain meds would wrap 3 back belts on me as tight as i could to num the pain as much as possible and keep on going. i did that till i was about 25 when i started loosing the use of my left leg and could no longer drive a stick shift. but i kept going. not long after my back was soo pinched that i one morning just could not use anything waist down. and had to crawl with only my arms. yet felling like my legs were being crushed and would actually black out from the pain. Doctor says i am lucky that i even recovered.
So in closing if you sepect you may have DDD dont just get an X- Ray get an MRI. if you find out early on there are things you can do to help. if you dont and just keep trucking like me you could loose your life. i did for a moment or too. on my first operation and when i was in the emergency room my blood pressure was 177 because of the pain. which can put you in to a heart attack.

if someone complains of off having back pains with pains in the legs dont tell them to just walk it off. get them into the dock right away.
