The Petites "Get Your Daddy's Car tonight"

Please click more info: The flip side is "Sun Showers",a bouncer tune.I'll post it later.The first two that I posted were released in 1958, but this one not till 1960.In my book it list (6 records) 2 on Spinning record ,2 on Columbia and one each on Elmor and Ascott.I have two other records one on Cub and one on Troy with the same group name that are not in the book.I have not found the records on the Ascot or Elmore lable yet but I'm still on the lookout for them.This group of girls released 8 records.Information on who The Petites were at the following link http://www.spencerdailyreporter.com/story/1454227.html There was another group that used the name "The Petites"(3 black girls) who released one record,which included Barbara Crosby (Carr).

While I am not 100% sure, The Petites Ascot record that I have sounds more like a Girl-group sounding group and I thought it was not the same group as this. Anyone know for sure? The Ascot record is availasble on a girl group comp, maybe one of the "Girls Will Be Girls" comps. Nice post.

@h8jf1 I have not had time to update the information under all the record,but will soon. I now have the Ascot record,and have been informed that (Elmore,Ascot,Troy & Cub) are not these girls.I am still trying to verfie the informatiom.After listening to all of the songs,it appears to be true.So you're supisions are correct. I also have a picture of a different group "The Petites,three black girls,"which maybe them.Not sure if it might Barbara Crosby Carr's group though.Thank you for sharing.
