  • where you get those lights ??

  • Car is now totalled. It's sitting in the impound lot waiting o be crushed/salvaged. Some jackass made a left turn in front of me without looking and I hit him head on. Engine went up in flames. It was a sad day...I would post a link tot he pictures but youtube won't let me.

  • @Knightmarepaintball no other videos. I'll post a link if I ever do another video.

  • @KBS604 update video anywhere?

  • this video is still up? I forgot about it. Lots has happened since. New paint and body work (no more chrome), new lighting, new 02A transmission, ecu flash (went from APR chip to APR stage 2), swapped the N75 for more boost, new custom fmic and turbo plumbing. backlit gauges with illuminated needles. Soon the seats will be reupholstered in black leatherette

  • what are those rims?

  • @wickedrett I'd imagine the automatics are a bit sluggish. That's too heavy and slow of a tranny for cars as quick as those Mk3's. My Subaru is a stick and I know I'll never go to automatic. Putting an auto in a VW is like releasing a fish into the sand. It just isn't supposed to be that way.

  • @floydie123 Yeah thats what I have. I do love VW. My 97 2.0L gets fantastic gas millage for the year and it has great pick up. I'm not sure how the automatics are. I can say the GT is a great if you can find one. But the rocker panels have a tendency to fall apart if it wasn't taken care of, because mine wasn't.

  • @wickedrett Yeah VW is Audi for the most part. Almost like a luxury division. VW was even with Porsche on some cars like the touareg and cayenne. Volkswagen really does make fantastic motors. They just require some regular attention and respect unlike some american and japanese cars which are practically built to be neglected nowadays. I'm actually saving for a Mk3 2.0 Jetta right now. Driving a Subie at the moment

  • @floydie123 Really? Hmmm. I did know Audi and VW where one of the same. I have a Mk 3 GT. I'll be honest, I do feel it has a lot of get up for such a small engine, but from what I've heard they are difficult to mod and work on because VW engines are very temperamental. However, I'm still in the learning process as I'm sure I always will be. I haven't paid much attention to cars in till I bought my first.
