An early Soviet movie from 1944 directed by Alexander Rou and starring Georgiy Millyar as the undead skeletal rapist ogre of ancient Slavonic mythology. Here it serves an analogy of the aggressor against Russia in the Second World War, still raging at the time this film was made. It is a call to the Russian people to rise up against the monster and drive it from their homeland.

  • @VendPrekmurec Why only white woman? What does it means, some sort of undercover racism?

  • @Tiiggii Old Slavs believed that Dragons come from the realm of Nav - darkness...

  • @Tiiggii no I'm German, but i speak also Slovenian, Hungarian, Italian. I only like Slavic mythology. There existed legends that "Dragons "steal" white women" (and crossbreeding with them)- this is equal as in the sumerian and biblical genesis("when the sons of gods raping human (white) women in masses)). Koschei in

  • @VendPrekmurec I dont know what did i said, but as far as i understand he is some sort of undead, like vampier or such. Its all so confusing about those ceatures, that many atributes overlaps.

I was thinking that Koschei means made of bone, as hard as a bone or bone alike.

    Are you Slovenian?

  • @Tiiggii Koschei comes from ancient Slavic word of "Kuschar", lizard, dragon, snake. "Who comes out from the darkness".

  • @MySHCH As far as i know he was sorcerer that, eventually turn him self into deathless

  • @usenetposts There is an "image of God" in those who were created ones... and not in those who were born ones - Gods, literally
